Amazon is reportedly developing an advanced reasoning AI model under its Nova brand—set for a June release—in what would be its most ambitious push yet to compete with OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. Similar to OpenAI’s o-3mini and DeepSeek’s R1—which allows it to “think through” problems and queries, making it more reliable in areas like math, coding, and science.
