François Chollet's ARC Prize Foundation just released ARC-AGI-3, the newest version of its interactive reasoning benchmark, where humans can solve 100% of tasks on the first try but AI models struggle, with top systems not even scoring 1%. Labs spent millions training models on earlier versions of the test, pushing ARC-AGI-2 scores from 3% to around 50% in under a year.

Does this count toward AI-driven job cuts? Maybe. As Meta invests billions of dollars into AI, the tech giant is laying off several hundred employees across multiple teams including sales, recruiting, and the Reality Labs division. This is the secont time Meta has trimmed its workforce in 2026.
Apple has complete access to Google's Gemini model in its own data centers. The company is able to edit the model as needed to make sure it responds to queries the way it wants, and also use the answers and reasoning information from the model to train smaller, cheaper models. The distillation process will enable Apple to create models that can run on its devices without the need to connect to the internet.

Record and summarize any meeting on a Mac using ChatGPT
Launch the ChatGPT app on a Mac.
Click the Record button at the bottom of the screen and grant the necessary permissions when asked.
ChatGPT will record the audio of each speaker. When you're done, click Stop on the recording button. (Recording length is currently capped at 120 minutes per session.)
To finish the recording and upload the transcript and summary, select Send.
ChatGPT will then open a private canvas with a structured summary, key points, action items, and suggested questions.
From there, you can type or speak a question to dive into specific elements of the conversation, or ask ChatGPT to rewrite it as an email, project plan, or code scaffold.
Note: Record mode is available for Plus, Enterprise, Edu, Business, and Pro workspaces, and only available for the macOS desktop app.
