Google DeepMind has released Nano Banana Pro, an image generation and editing model built on Gemini 3 Pro. It creates high-fidelity visuals with accurate multilingual text, advanced editing controls, and embedded SynthID watermarking for transparency. The model is rolling out across Gemini, Google Ads, Workspace, and AI Studio.

Google began its global Gemini rollout to Android Auto users on November 20, embedding conversational AI into vehicles worldwide. The deployment spans 45 languages and will continue over the next two months.
Perplexity is launching its AI-powered browser on Android. The new Comet app is available to download now, and it comes with many of the same features as the desktop version of the browser, including the ability to summon Perplexity’s built-in AI assistant while you surf the web.
OpenAI is rolling out "ChatGPT for Teachers," a free version of its AI chatbot for verified K-12 teachers in the United States. The offer runs through June 2027 and includes a secure workspace that, according to the company, does not use data for model training by default. OpenAI says teachers are already seeing time savings in lesson planning and other daily tasks.
Android's Quick Share now works with Apple's AirDrop system. Apple devices will now appear in the Quick Share interface on Android, and Android devices will appear on macOS devices. The two-way sharing works for photos, videos, and other files.
