Chinese giant Huawei’s research arm is pushing back on accusations that its new Pangu Pro model was copied from Alibaba's Qwen 2.5, coming after whistleblowers posted technical analysis showing similarities between the two systems. A GitHub group called HonestAGI initially published (now deleted) findings accusing Pangu of having an “extraordinary correlation” with Qwen 2.5-14B.
A new survey from Resume Builder found that 60% of managers are using AI tools to make critical business and personnel decisions, allowing the tech to determine raises, promotions, and firings with minimal oversight or training. Resume Builder surveyed 1,342 managers and found that 78% use AI to determine raises, 77% for promotions, and 64% for terminations.
OpenAI has reportedly ramped up its security operations in response to escalating threats of corporate espionage.This comes after OpenAI was forced to overhaul its existing security protocols earlier this year, after Chinese AI start-up, DeepSeek, allegedly managed to copy its GPT models to develop its own rival R1 model.

How and why to use ChatGPT’s temporary chat
Temporary Chat is like incognito mode for ChatGPT. The convo won’t appear in your history, it won’t use or update ChatGPT’s memory, and it won’t be used to train the model. While OpenAI keeps a copy for safety purposes, it gets deleted completely after 30 days.
