The Browser Company released its AI-first Dia browser in beta, featuring an integrated chatbot that can see every tab, take agentic actions, and adapt to user preferences and patterns. Dia integrates its AI directly into the URL bar, allowing users to chat with their open tabs, get summaries, and draft content without leaving their workflow.
Hollywood giants, including Disney and Universal, just filed a lawsuit against AI image generation startup Midjourney, alleging that the company’s models are a massive engine for copyright theft. The lawsuit marks Hollywood's first major legal action against AI companies, with Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Universal, and others joining forces.
Google's Project Starline was reborn as Google Beam at Google I/O last month. The 3D conferencing system, which uses a lot of advanced hardware, makes users look like they're in the same room as each other. HP has revealed the first Beam setup - the HP Dimension will be available later this year for $24,999. It will come with a 65-inch display (Beam systems will have displays of various sizes) and also support regular 2D chats using Zoom and Google Meet.
