OpenAI released its GPT-5.2 model family, calling it the company’s “most capable series yet for professional knowledge work”, arriving just weeks after an internal memo warned the company was losing ground to Google’s Gemini lineup. The release comes in three tiers: Instant for quick queries, Thinking for complex reasoning tasks, and Pro for maximum accuracy on hard problems.

Disney just announced a three-year licensing deal with OpenAI, giving Sora users access to over 200 characters from Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars — alongside a $1B equity investment into the AI leader. Fans will be able to use Disney-owned IP like Mickey Mouse, Darth Vader, and the Avengers in video generations, with select creations streaming on Disney+.

Google just released a significantly upgraded version of its Deep Research agent, now available to developers through a new Interactions API — with consumer rollouts coming soon to Search, NotebookLM, and the Gemini app. The agent runs on the new Gemini 3 Pro, iteratively planning searches, reading results, identifying gaps, and querying again until reaching an answer.

Time Magazine named the “Architects of AI” its 2025 Person of the Year, spotlighting the people building the models, chips, and systems behind today’s AI boom. Two covers mark the choice: one showing AI as labor, the other highlighting leaders like Sam Altman, Jensen Huang, Mark Zuckerberg, Fei-Fei Li, Demis Hassabis, and Lisa Su. The decision mirrors a year where AI use spread quietly across apps, devices, and workflows, often without users noticing.

Rivian has unveiled its first custom processor built specifically for autonomous driving, expanding control over both software and hardware as competitors depend on thirdparty chips. The company’s latest platform, called Autonomy+, integrates camera and sensor data to support lanekeeping and assisted driving on highways, targeting safer, smoother rides.

What if the biggest unlock for your CPG brand isn’t a packaging refresh or a promo blitz — but creators telling the story your audience actually wants to hear? That’s exactly what happened when this everyday grocery staple shifted from traditional ads to a creator-led, UGC-powered strategy built for scale.

Instead of pushing polished product shots, the brand activated creators across food, lifestyle, and everyday routines - pairing premium gifting with seasonal moments and culturally relevant hooks. The result wasn’t just content; it was momentum. Snack boards, game-day recipes, self-care rituals, and kitchen-counter creativity started taking over feeds, delivering 560K+ views, 247K reach, 9K likes, 2K saves, and $58K EMV - all from authentic storytelling that felt like discovery, not advertising.

More importantly, it became repeatable. Mid-tier creators expanded visibility. Micro-influencers added warmth and trust. And with Creator.co managing recruitment, briefs, and delivery, the brand built a scalable content engine, everything from 71K-view recipe videos to 600+ save snack hacks. As one marketing leader put it: “The team is accessible, easy to work with, and provides frequent updates — all our data was right at our fingertips.”

When UGC becomes the heart of your strategy, your product stops blending in and starts belonging in the lives (and carts) of your consumers.
